Terms used in Kosh App

  1. ADD FUNDS-The “Add Funds” feature in the app allows users to deposit virtual paper cash into their accounts. This ensures that you have the required funds available to engage in various trading transactions within the platform.

  2. LADDER -The “Ladder” tab allows you to select stocks of your choice and create a customized ladder. By clicking on this tab, you can easily organize and manage your selected stocks. Individual Ladder for each Stock needs to be created

  3. TRADES-The “Trade” tab offers a comprehensive view of your stock transactions, including both purchases and sales. It provides details on your buying and selling activity, helping you track and manage your trades effectively.

  4. ORDERS-The “Orders” tab in the app displays your latest buy and sell entries that are yet to be executed. It provides a real-time overview of your pending transactions, allowing you to track before they are processed.

  5. POSITION- The “Position” section offers a comprehensive overview of your portfolio. Here, you can view important details about your stocks, such as the initial quantity held, realized profit, average purchase price, and any additional cash generated. This section helps you assess your stock performance in-depth, enabling you to make informed and strategic investment decisions. Buy and sell orders executed at each step rise and fall are also seen. Cancelled orders which are not executed are also displayed.

  6. ACTIVITY- The “Activity” section tracks all actions related to your trading in a sequential manner, including orders that are actively placed or executed, such as buy and sell orders. In this section, you can clearly see the status of your initial orders, including whether they have been successfully executed at the original buy price, providing you with a transparent record of your trading activities.

  7. CSV FILE- The “CSV File” feature in the app allows you to download a detailed report of your orders and trades for carrying out detailed monitoring and analysis.

  8. CASH FOR NEW LADDERS-“Cash for New Ladder” refers to the total available cash in your account that can be used to create new ladders. It comprises unallocated cash that has not yet been utilized and any extra cash remaining from previously created ladders that have traded in market.

  9. UNALLLOCATED CASH –Unallocated cash refers to the Cash that has not been utilized in creating any ladder. This amount remains accessible and can be allocated towards future Ladder creation or cash withdrawal.

  10. CASH NEEDED FOR LADDERS-Cash needed for ladders represents the funds reserved for upcoming trades within your ladders. This amount will be utilised to execute future transactions. Ensuring your strategies are adequately funded.

  11. SKIP ADD FUNDS- “Skip Add Funds” allows you to proceed without adding additional funds to your account. This option is useful when you want to continue using your existing balance without making a new deposit.

  12. WITHDRAW- “Withdraw” allows you to transfer available cash to your bank account. This feature enables you to access your funds as needed.

  13. WATCHLIST- “Watchlist” helps you to keep an eye on Stocks price movements, and trends. To take future decisions on this stock

  14. EXTRA CASH LEFT-Extra cash left refers to the cash generated from order execution through your all ladder strategies trading or have traded in the market. This can be utilised for creating new Ladders or can be withdrawn.

  15. INITIAL BUY PRICE- “Initial Buy Price” refers to the price at which first lot of lumpsum stocks are purchased. This buy price serves as the baseline for determining the profitability of your investment, as it is compared with the current market price to calculate any gains or losses.

  16. TARGET PRICE MULTIPLIER- Target price multiplier is the multiplier of initial buy price that will lead to target price.

  17. TARGET PRICE- “Target Price” refers to the price level at which you aim to sell all shares to achieve your desired profit. It helps in setting investment goals and making informed trading decisions.

  18. STEPS ABOVE- Number of steps above is referred to the count of steps taken while selling the shares when the stock price increase.

  19. STEPS BELOW- Number of steps below is referred to the count of steps taken while buying the shares when the stock price drop.

  20. STEP SIZE-“Step Size” refers to the predetermined price increment or decrement at which a buy or sell action is executed.

  21. ORDER SIZE –“Order Size” refers to the fixed quantity of shares bought or sold at each step size. It determines the volume of shares traded in a systematic manner at each fall or rise of share price by the step size.

  22. ACTIVE LADDERS- “Active Ladders” refer to the ladders currently in progress, where buy and sell orders are being executed based on predefined step sizes and order sizes.

  23. INACTIVE LADDERS- “Inactive Ladders” refer to ladders that are not currently executing any buy or sell orders. These also may be any active ladder which been inactivate.

  24. REALIZED PROFIT- Refers to the actual profit earned from a trade or investment after closing a position. It is the difference between the selling price and the purchase price of an asset.

  25. UNREALIZED PROFIT – Refers to the potential gain on an asset that has increased in value but has not yet been sold. Since the position is still open, the profit is not locked in and can change depending on market fluctuations.

  26. POSITION VALUE- Refers to the total market value of a particular investment or trade at a given time. It is calculated based on the current market price of the asset and the quantity held.

  27. START NEW RUN- The “Start New Run” feature allows users to either retain all previously created ladders or erase all ladders for a fresh start.
